Something not right, or a mistake in what a plate says? Write to hello@linesong.app. It helps to say which device and which drawing.
I bought something and it isn't there
Open the settings and press Restore purchases. It brings back what was bought before with the same Apple Account. If it finds nothing, check that the device is signed in to the App Store with the account you bought with.
What does a volume give me, and what does The Library?
A volume is bought once and kept, with every pack added to it later. The Library is every volume and every pack, and everything added later, packs and volumes alike. Neither is a subscription. The whole of the first pack is free, and so is the first drawing of every other pack.
I want a refund
Apple handles every payment, so refunds are asked for from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
There's no sound
Linesong is best with sound on. Check that the device's volume is up, and on an iPhone that the switch or Action button hasn't put it on silent. In the settings, Sound has a level each for the sound of each place, the notes of the lines and the names read aloud; nought turns one off.
What are Easy, Medium and Hard?
The same drawing three ways. Easy is its outline, a few numbers at a time. Medium is its parts, with every number showing. Hard is every detail: hundreds of dots, found with the drawing zoomed in. Move the drawing with one finger and join the next dot by drawing on from the end of the line, or by tapping the dot. The way can be changed in the settings.
I left a drawing part done
Open it again and it is joined and filled as far as you got. Touch the end of the line to go on.
I'd rather not see spiders
In the settings, Leave out takes spiders, or all the creepy crawlies, out of the library.
How do I begin again?
Start again as new, in the settings, forgets every drawing you have finished and begins as if the app were new. What you have bought is kept.
Where do the pictures come from?
From the great natural history books and collections: Audubon, Haeckel, Redouté, the Sowerbys and many more. Every picture is in the public domain or openly licensed. When a drawing is finished, its card says who made the plate, when, and where the original is kept.
